How The Service Works

Using ItaliaDirect is simple. Follow these steps for a smooth experience:

Step 1: Sign Up (FREE)
Create your free account by clicking “Sign Up” and filling in your details. You’ll instantly receive your personal Italian delivery address.

Step 2: Add Your Croatian Delivery Address
In your account dashboard, make sure your Croatian delivery address is complete and accurate. This is where we’ll send your packages.

Step 3: Purchase Your Package Service
Before shopping from an Italian retailer, select and purchase the package size that fits your planned order (Small, Medium, or Large). This prepares your forwarding slot and ensures fast processing.

Step 4: Shop from Italian Retailers
Now you’re ready to shop! Browse your favorite Italian websites (Amazon.it, Vinted.it, Zalando.it, etc.) and add items to your cart. At checkout, use your ItaliaDirect Italian address as the shipping destination.

Step 5: We Receive Your Package
When your package arrives at our secure facility in Italy, we notify you immediately via email.

Step 6: We Forward to Croatia
Since you’ve already purchased your package service and provided your Croatian address, we process and forward your package without delay. It’s on its way to your door!

Important: Always purchase your package service before placing your order with the Italian retailer. This ensures the fastest possible forwarding. If a package arrives without a pre-purchased service, we’ll need to contact you to complete the purchase first, which causes delays.

If a package arrives at our facility and you haven’t yet purchased a forwarding service, we’ll contact you via email. You’ll need to log in to your account, complete the package service purchase, and confirm your Croatian delivery address before we can forward your package.

This causes unnecessary delays. To ensure the fastest delivery, always purchase your package service first, then shop from the Italian retailer.

You can shop from any Italian retailer that ships within Italy. Popular choices among our customers include:

If a store ships to an Italian address, you can use ItaliaDirect.

Here’s a typical timeline:

  • Italian retailer ships to our facility: 1-5 business days (depends on retailer)
  • We process and forward to Croatia: 1-2 business days
  • Delivery to your Croatian address: 2-4 business days

Absolutely. From the moment your package arrives at our facility until it reaches your door in Croatia, you can track its status in your account dashboard. You’ll also receive automatic email updates at each stage:

Since you’re purchasing from established Italian retailers, the vast majority of products you buy will be perfectly fine to forward. Retailers are responsible for ensuring their products can be legally shipped within Italy.

However, for legal and safety reasons, we cannot forward certain items:

– ❌ Illegal goods
– ❌ Perishable food items requiring refrigeration
– ❌ Live animals or plants

We handle every package with care. However, if damage occurs:

1. Document the damage with photos upon delivery.
2. Contact our support team within 48 hours.
3. We’ll investigate and work with you to find a fair resolution.

We recommend keeping all original packaging until you’ve confirmed the contents are in good condition.

Yes! When you purchase a package, you can choose to pick up your item in person at our Italian warehouse address. Simply select the “Pick Up” option during checkout or in your package settings after purchase. We’ll notify you via email when your package arrives and is ready for collection. If you don’t pick up your package within 5 business days, it will be automatically forwarded to your default Croatian delivery address to avoid storage fees.
No worries — we check every package’s weight when it arrives at our Italian address. If it doesn’t match your selected tier, we’ll email you immediately and guide you to upgrade or adjust your order before shipping.

Your Italian Address

Yes. Your Italian address is a real, physical address at our secure facility. It’s assigned to you permanently and won’t change. You can use it for unlimited purchases from any Italian retailer.

Yes. Your address includes a unique identifier code that ensures your packages are correctly attributed to your account. Only you and our team can access information about packages sent to your address. We never share your data with third parties.

Once you’ve signed up you’ll find your personal Italian address in your account dashboard. When shopping on any Italian website:

1. Add items to your cart as usual.
2. At checkout, enter your ItaliaDirect Italian address as the shipping destination.
3. Complete your purchase with the Italian retailer.
4. We receive the package and forward it directly to your Croatian address.

Payment

You pay before you shop from the Italian retailer. Here’s the process:

1. Log in to your ItaliaDirect account.

4. Your forwarding service is now active, shop from your chosen Italian retailer using your Italian address.
5. When your package arrives at our facility, we forward it to Croatia without delay.

This prepaid model ensures the fastest possible processing and delivery. There are no subscription fees or monthly charges: you only pay for the package services you need.

Yes. If you’re planning to order from multiple Italian retailers, you can purchase multiple package services in advance. Each service covers one incoming package. This is especially useful during sales periods when you might be placing several orders.

Yes. We never store your full credit card details on our servers. All payments are processed through a PCI-compliant payment gateway that uses industry-standard encryption. Your financial information is always protected.

Account Management

Click “Login” in the top right corner of any page. Enter your email address and password to access your dashboard, where you can:

You can change the delivery address of an order in your account only before its arrival in our warehouse.
